Northern Territory occupies Australia’s north and central regions, where Outback meets tropical landscapes. It includes the Red Centre—Alice Springs and Uluru—as well as tropical Darwin and iconic parks such as Kakadu and Nitmiluk. The Territory is known for its ancient Indigenous cultures, dramatic natural scenery, vast wilderness, and adventure-oriented travel experiences.

Uluru & Kata Tjuta

Located in the heart of Australia’s Red Centre, Uluru and Kata Tjuta are emblematic of the country’s natural and cultural heritage. Uluru, a massive sandstone monolith, is not only a striking geological wonder but also a sacred site for the Anangu people. Visitors can witness the changing colors of Uluru at sunrise or sunset, a mesmerizing natural spectacle. Just west lies Kata Tjuta, a group of rugged domed rock formations, offering challenging hikes and panoramic views. Katherine Gorge, in Nitmiluk National Park, showcases the dramatic beauty of northern Australia’s escarpments and waterways. The park is home to 13 gorges carved by the Katherine River, where visitors can explore by boat, kayak, or on foot. The region is rich in Jawoyn Aboriginal culture, with rock art sites dating back thousands of years.
